The Martine Rose x Air Monarch IV ‘White Navy’ maintains the shoe’s original design, though the London-based designer plays with the general shape of the lifestyle trainer, thanks to bulbous PU inserts underneath the white leather upper. Intent on disrupting sneaker convention, Rose began her creative process by fitting a size 18 upper onto size 9 tooling, featuring a midsole with full-length Nike Air cushioning.
