Representing the launch colorway of Zion Williamson’s debut signature shoe, the Jordan Zion 1 ‘Gen Zion’ features a foundational black and white palette that illustrates the effectiveness of spartan design, reinforcing the notion that basics come first. Contrasting metallic gold accents land on the sneaker’s branding elements, which include mismatched Jumpman and Zion logos on each tongue. A large ‘Z’ is built into the textile and synthetic upper, equipped with an articulated tongue inspired by superhero armor. Responsive cushioning is provided by a full-length Air Strobel, supplemented by a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot.
