Releasing as part of Converse’s ‘Breaking Down Barriers’ collection, the Pro Leather High ‘Knicks’ pays tribute to Nat ‘Sweetwater’ Clifton, the first African-American athlete to sign an NBA contract with the New York Knickerbockers. The retro high-top uses a Rush Blue tumbled leather upper, accented with satin Star Chevron branding in Brilliant Orange. An NBA Hardwood Classics logo graces the heel tab, while vintage Knicks branding adorns the interior tongue.
