Releasing as part of the ‘Protection Pack,’ the New Balance 2002R ‘Distressed’ updates the retro-inspired lifestyle runner with a heavily weathered aesthetic. Abrasions and scuff marks are applied to an upper built with a combination of textile and leather, featuring tattered edges that suggest prolonged wear and tear. A tonal ‘N’ logo graces the quarter panel, while New Balance branding decorates the cork insole. Lightweight cushioning is provided by an ABZORB midsole, supported underfoot by a grippy gum rubber outsole.
