The Vans shoe that started it all. Initially known as Style #44, the Authentic was Paul Van Doren’s first footwear creation when he launched the Van Doren Rubber Company in 1966. Today, the original design remains largely intact, affixing a canvas upper to a rubber midsole with waffle tread underfoot. An Off the Wall license plate completes the minimalistic style.
