The React Frenzy ‘Newsprint Melon Tint’ draws inspiration from the split-toed tabi shoes that originated in Japan. The country’s traditional Sashiko stitching is the basis for the shoe’s stitched textile upper, while the colors reference Kintsugi, the art of repairing damaged ceramics with gold and silver lacquer. A React foam midsole provides lightweight cushioning and a smooth ride. Inside the shoe, the sockliner features ‘The 10th’ branding — a nod to the utility-focused Nike line named after Bill Bowerman’s army unit during WWII.
