With the NMD_XR1 Primeknit J ‘Utility Black,’ adidas re-engineers the design of the NMD with a higher ankle. A series of black and grey hues emerge on the Primeknit application of the upper, and the shoe reconfigures the layout of the TPU caging by reinforcing it with a mesh panel. Contrasting blue accents appear on the heel loop, while the white Boost midsole provides cushioning.
