Designed in partnership with Tremaine Emory’s streetwear label, the Denim Tears x ASICS Gel MC Plus ‘Georgia Red Clay’ applies a burnt orange finish to an archival 1995 running shoe created by Shigeyuki Mitsui, the original designer of the iconic Gel-Lyte 3. The monochrome finish on the mesh, leather and suede upper draws inspiration from the summer days that Emory enjoyed as a child in Harlem, Georgia, where the unpaved roads were covered in red clay. The distinctive orange hue stains the sculpted white foam midsole, featuring visible Gel cushioning in the forefoot and heel.
