Nike has historically used Chinese tradition as inspiration for the design of some of the brand's most popular sneakers, as exemplified by the Nike Air Max 1 Supreme 'Autumn Festival.' Celebrating the mid-September festival whose participants plant trees to celebrate fall, the sneaker features a perforated upper encased almost entirely in metallic gold overlays, with overall cloud prints and a black rabbit logo on the lateral heel. The red outsole reveals the AM1's traditional visible Max Air unit.
