Nike partnered with the Negro Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006 on an exclusive rendition of the Air Force 1 Premium, which was inspired by several players on the New York Cubans baseball team. The leather upper sports black and brown tones accented by pronounced stitching on the overlays. The shoe also features special graphics on the tongue and heel that commemorate the heritage baseball team.
