Created by Verner Panton in 1968, the Flowerpot VP9 is a representation of the Danish designer's penchant for playful shapes and colors, utilizing natural forms and contemporary materials to develop new avenues of artistic expression. Inspired by the ""Flower Power"" movement of the late 1960s, the table lamp consists primarily of two semicircles rendered in a single color. The result is an abstract vision of a tabletop floral arrangement, simultaneously offering modern utility. This version of the lamp produced by &Tradition is executed in a metallic silver referred to as Chrome Plated.
