Limited to 333 pairs, the Way of Wade 10 ‘The First Pick’ dons a tan leather upper with ornate laser-etched graphics inspired by the Chinese mythological figure Kui Xing, the god of examinations. The shoe’s numbered edition is listed on the interior tongue, while an ancient Chinese saying — ‘Kui Xing Dian Dou, Du Zhan Ao Tou’ — is inscribed across each lace dubrae. The sneaker is mounted on a lightweight Boom midsole, reinforced with a TPU wrap and supported by a brick red rubber outsole.
