First introduced in 1979 as an indoor handball sneaker, the adidas Spezial is reimagined with heritage design for the March 2019 release of the SL80 A Spezial 'Collegiate Gold' sneaker. Constructed of a mesh upper with suede and leather overlays, its vibrant colorway is a nod to adidas’ unreleased version of the SL80.
