Nike LD 1000
The LD 1000 occupies a special place in Nike history, designed by Bill Bowerman and released in 1977 as “the first shoe designed for your knees.” Employing mesh and suede overlays on the aerodynamic upper, the silhouette is distinguished by an aggressive tread outsole. In 2024, the LD 1000 returned to cultural prominence when Stüssy presented a collaborative version, rendered in ‘Action Green,’ ‘Sanded Gold’ and ‘Phantom Aquarius Blue.’
