Launched in 2010 under the creative direction of Nicolas Ghesquière, Balenciaga’s Arena sneaker rose to cultural significance after being worn by a number of NBA stars. Reimagining iconic basketball silhouettes in a luxury context, the upper is constructed with Italian leather and locked down with D-ring lacing grommets. A padded tongue rounds out the understated style.
