The Nike women’s RYZ 365 2 ‘Black Metallic Gold’ is a product of the Serena Williams Design Crew, a diversity-driven apprenticeship program that assembled ten emerging New York City designers handpicked by Serena, tasked with creating a women’s collection for both performance and lifestyle. This sneaker falls in the latter category and features a black textile upper with tonal overlays in leather and suede. Metallic gold accents make their way to decorative lace jewels, an embroidered mini-Swoosh and six eyelets — a nod to Serena’s six US Open championships. The sneaker rides on a crisp white lifted midsole, complete with large cutouts under the heel.
