A PE colorway made for the Japanese-born NBA player, the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 34 ‘Heritage’ showcases multicolor designs inspired by the athlete’s split cultural roots. The left shoe highlights a tile-like print on the eyestay and heel that draws inspiration from the West African nation of Benin. The right shoe gives the nod to Japan, featuring wave and cherry blossom graphics on a textile upper made to feel like washi, or traditional Japanese paper.
