The Naomi Osaka x NikeCourt women’s Air Zoom GP Turbo ‘US Open’ made its debut on the feet of the tennis star at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows. The low-top is clad in washed denim with a black synthetic overlay wrapped over the medial forefoot. In a nod to Naomi’s heritage, the national flags of Japan and Haiti appear on each of the side panels, while the athlete’s personal logo graces the back heel. Additional embellishments include a circular ‘NY’ patch and metallic gold chain-link lace jewels. Lightweight cushioning is provided by a foam midsole and a full-length Zoom Air unit stitched directly to the upper. Underfoot, a herringbone-tread rubber outsole delivers grippy traction on hard court surfaces.
