French sports label, Le Coq Sportif, enlists the design prowess of Tokyo-based retailer, MITA, for a special edition of the R921 model. Released in March 2018, the limited-edition MITA x R921 'Le Club' sneaker is the French brand’s first hybrid silhouette, combining the LCS R1000 upper with the sole and heel from the LCS RXVI. This retro-inspired design sports a predominantly Dress Blue suede and Aerotop Open Mesh upper dressed with Le Coq Sportif’s logo on the sidewall. Vibrant hits of red and green accent the midsole, while ‘Tokyo Kai’ in Kanji lettering dresses the sole.
