The Maison Margiela x Reebok Club C ‘White’ deconstructs a classic design, taking cues from the French fashion house’s ‘Memory Of’ concept. Iconic elements have been removed from the heel tab, eyestay, and side stripes, only leaving behind felt liners, tattered remnants, and frayed stitches, a vestige of what is traditionally there. A woven Reebok tag is sliced in half, giving way to a Margiela label underneath. These shoes have a rubber cupsole with a visible foam wedge for a plush feel.
