Nike Basketball teamed up with luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin on the Hyperdunk to pay homage to the commercial in which Nike first debuted their Flywire technology, with Kobe Bryant jumping over one of the brand’s speeding cars. Featuring a series of shiny silver panels throughout the design, the shoe also makes its Flywire cables visible on the quarter panel for a technical appearance. The sockliner is formed with a red leather application that mirrors the interior of Aston Martin’s cars, while the AM crest and insignia are embroidered on the tongue.
