Taken from a capsule collection celebrating Nintendo’s popular video game series, the Animal Crossing x PUMA Wild Rider ‘New Horizons’ dresses the lifestyle runner in beige nylon covered in familiar screen-printed graphics. Forefoot and heel overlays are rendered in blue and green suede, the latter accented with Animal Crossing’s embroidered leaf logo on the lateral side. The trademark is repeated on a laser-cut wooden lace jewel. Lightweight cushioning comes courtesy of an injection-molded EVA midsole, supported underfoot by a grippy gum rubber outsole.
