Nike brought back the Air Penny 3 in the original black and Varsity Royal colorway in 2009, a dozen years after its original release. The mid-top features an all-black finish on the upper, built with a combination of tumbled leather and synthetic Foamposite wing. Penny Hardaway’s 1 Cent logo appears on the lateral heel, with contrasting pops of Varsity Royal appearing on the shoe’s interior bootie and rubber outsole.
