This Air Max 97 CR7 'Metallic Gold’ combines its gold upper, which pays tribute to Cristiano Ronaldo’s phenomenal success, with patchwork detailing designed to serve as a reminder of his roots in Portugal. As he was limited to just two pairs of shoes as a child—one for school and one for soccer—the upper also pays tribute to Ronaldo’s Mother, who dutifully sewed up his playing shoes every time he got a hole in them while playing soccer.
