Air Jordan 2 High 'Doernbecher'
Nike empowers children and teenagers every year by letting them design their own shoes as part of a collaboration with the OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Fifteen-year-old Sheridan Brenton endured the trauma of over 40 surgeries to fix his injuries following a car accident. His sneaker, the Air Jordan 2 High 'Doernbecher,' features a paisley printed upper with 35 perforations on the forefoot as a nod to his jersey number, black snakeskin details on the side panel, and black suede on the eyestay.
