Kobe Bryant made the jump from high school to the NBA in 1996, signing with adidas for six years. In that time, Bryant won the 1997 Slam Dunk contest, launched a signature Three Stripes sneaker line Stripes, appeared in four All-Star Games and won three NBA titles. In 2003, Kobe joined Nike, helping the Swoosh define its basketball program in the post-Michael Jordan era by resurrecting the Huarache franchise, launching the Hyperdunk and developing a signature series. Taking home two more titles and winning his lone MVP trophy in Nike, the Black Mamba ended his career in 2016 as one of the era's most decorated players‚ a legacy that lives on today through his iconic sneaker line.
