On April 6, 2017, adidas released the NMD XR1 ‘Triple Black’ sneaker which utilizes the same pattern which is seen on the NMD R2 colorway. Its woven upper is all black with horizontal stitching for some textural contrast. Other details include a black protective cage, leather heel detail, matching EVA plugs and traces of red on the heel tab and rear stitching.
