Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%
Nike launched the ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% as its fastest running shoe ever in 2019. From VaporWeave and ZoomX to a carbon-fiber plate, the series brings together the brand’s most advanced technologies. Marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge wore a prototype version of the silhouette when he attempted to break the two-hour marathon barrier in 2017 as part of the ‘Breaking2’ project—a barrier Kipchoge would go on to break in 2019. Nike continues to push the possibilities of the line today, introducing the NEXT% 2 in 2021 and the NEXT% 3 in 2023.
