The Nike Air Penny 2 is the second signature shoe for Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway, a dynamic point guard who was a four-time NBA All-Star. Released in 1996 with a colorway of black, Varsity Royal and white, Hardaway sported this sneaker while playing for the Orlando Magic. Designed by Eric Avar, it features Penny's 'Cent' logo in multiple spots and an upper made of synthetic suede and full-grain leather. The pairing of Nike's Max Air and Zoom Air helped make the Air Penny 2 one of the more popular 90s silhouettes.
