Girl and Chocolate Skateboards emerged in the early ’90s in Southern California as sister labels, both grounded in playful aesthetics imagined by graphic designers Andy Jenkins and Evan Hecox, with innovative video edits directed by Spike Jonze. These sensibilities continue to inform the direction of both brands today, visible in the form of decks, hats, hoodies and more.
