Christopher Makos started out in the art world as an apprentice for Man Ray. Meeting Andy Warhol in 1977, Makos became connected in NYC's art and music circles, culminating in the initial release of 'White Trash' that same year. Considered a seminal chronicle of the burgeoning punk and queer scenes in the city, the original release emerged as a collector's item, featuring photographs of Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Grace Jones, Divine and others. This first-edition hardcover version was published in 2014 by Glitterati Incorporated, resurfacing Makos' influential first published work.
