The evolution of the chunky Nike sneaker started in 2002 with the Monarch and 16 years later evolved into the M2K Tekno. Combining elements of the Monarch I and Monarch IV, the Wmns M2K Tekno 'Black' sneaker features a chunky leather upper clad in black with pops of Volt on the futuristic heel clip and small embroidered Swoosh. Two other Swooshes—a more traditional one on the lateral panel and a tiny one on the forefoot—also take on the black colorway.
