The Epic React Flyknit 2 'Blue Hero Bright Crimson' was released in July 2019 featuring a few tweaks to the design of its predecessor. The stretchy, slip-on Flyknit collar and upper provide a dynamic fit that conforms to the shape of the foot, while the modified weave pattern promotes more flexibility. A shortened-up heel support panel reduces weight but the Nike React foam midsole remains intact, using data-informed mapping to cushion the foot.
