The Concepts x New Balance 992 Made in USA 'Low Hanging Fruit' pays homage to Frieda Rapoport Caplan, the businesswoman and food distributor who introduced exotic fruits and vegetables to the American palate. One of those fruits, the kiwi, serves as the design inspiration for the lifestyle sneaker, featuring a tan suede upper that combines perforated underlays with hairy-textured paneling. Fluorescent green accents appear on the tongue tag, 'N' logo and midsole. Inside the shoe, the sockliner displays Concepts branding and an all-over strawberry graphic.
