Marcello Danieli founded Diadora in 1948 in Caerano di San Marco, Italy as a hiking shoe specialist. The brand ascended to wider cultural significance in the ’70s after Swedish tennis star Björn Borg's signature silhouette, the Borg Elite, was co-opted as a status symbol among the British working class. Today, Diadora footwear designs combine nostalgic design codes with technical innovations, yielding iconic models such as the N9000, Mi Basket and Camaro.
