Onion Ceramic, Nathalie Du Pasquier for Memphis Milano
Ettore Sottsass founded Memphis Milano in 1980, subverting principles of modernity and minimalism to develop a bold aesthetic inspired by the art deco and pop art movements. Designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier for the influential collective in 1985, the Onion is a ceramic dish with kiln-sublimated detailing. Featuring a deep blue base, the bowl is accented with two separate patterns, including monochromatic stripes along the exterior and an abstract leopard print on the interior. It measures 25cm W x 30cm D.
