adidas gives the women’s NMD_R1 ‘Core Black’ a material upgrade, swapping out the usual knitted upper for a combination of black suede and peached suede jersey. The all-black theme continues on the welded three-stripes, laces and molded heel tab. The larger rear EVA plug in black is paired with a blue counterpart, with more blue appearing on the heel loop and trefoil logo on the tongue. The full-length Boost midsole provides a cushioned ride alongside a pop of contrasting white.
