The LeBron James Family Foundation x Nike LeBron 18 ‘We Are Family’ gets its name from the tagline of LeBron’s charitable foundation, whose mission is to positively affect the children and young adults of Akron, Ohio, through educational and community initiatives. A sequel of sorts to the ‘I Promise’ edition of the LeBron 17, the sneaker features a teal-colored knit upper with contrasting orange fibers. Additional citrus accents land on the sneaker’s Swoosh branding and the back half of the rubber outsole, supporting a visible Max Air unit that houses responsive Zoom Air cushioning. ‘We Are Family’ is inscribed on one of the decorative Air pods placed atop the tongue, while the foundation’s logo is stamped on the sockliner.
