In the bustling streets of Taichung, Taiwan, there’s a sanctuary where creativity flourishes and individuality reigns supreme. This haven is OOO-ing Studio, a revolutionary hair salon that has carved out a niche in the global landscape of beauty and style. Founded by Light Liou, May Wang and Wesley Wei, OOO-ing is not just a salon; it’s a think tank of self-expression, specializing in vivid colorations, punk aesthetics and unapologetic explorations of subverting societal norms.
Each coming from different professional backgrounds, close friends Light Liou, May Wang and Wesley Wei founded OOO-ing Studio in Taichung, Taiwan in 2019.
The salon works closely with individuals to create unique hairstyles, often informed by a range of unorthodox influences such as video game characters.
Co-founder May Wang wants people to look at the studio's work and wonder, "how is this hairstyle possible?"
Vivid colorations, punk aesthetics and subverted societal conventions are considered foundational elements of OOO-ing's approach.
The salon combines technical craft with avant-garde artistic ideas to push the boundaries of traditional hairstyling techniques.
Individuals bring in their own interpretation of beauty, embarking on a course of self-learning and exploration.
