Skate Hard by Peter Hill and Stephen Hill
Emerging from Melbourne's underground skateboarding scene in the late-1970s, Peter and Stephen Hill channelled their skating passion into efforts to expand its reach both domestically and internationally. The pair began by importing skateboards into their native Australia and hosting competitions throughout the 1980s before launching Globe in 1994. Building on the success of the duo's first book—1986's 'Blast! The Skateboard Book'—1988's 'Skate Hard' is a how-to book on the sport, providing tips, tricks and other information for beginners and fans of skating. The 102-page book features color photos and illustrations.
