Bolognese designer Giancarlo Piretti created the Plona foldable armchair in 1970. Produced by Anonima Castelli and built to be stackable, the Plona's solid tubular structure is executed in polished stainless aluminum alloy, with a die-cast alloy hinge design. The seat is crafted from impact-resistant plexiglass, offered in a range of colors since its debut. This particular edition of the Plona appears in a translucent smoke grey and measures 74cm H x 68cm W x 57 cm D.
