The Nike Air Metal Max ‘USA’ applies a patriotic palette to a retro trainer originally released in 1997. The red synthetic suede upper is distinguished with a series of cut-out slits on the side panels that reveal reflective mesh inlays for ventilated comfort. Elastic bands attached to the padded mesh tongue deliver a snug fit. It all rides on a midsole that houses visible Max Air units in the forefoot and heel for lightweight cushioning.
