Every four years, the world stops what it’s doing and turns its gaze to the Olympic Games. After a rain-soaked Opening Ceremony, Paris makes history this year as the second city after London to host the Games three times. Events take place in the capital and a smattering of locations across France, plus one wildcard event—surfing—in French Polynesia.

The 2024 Games have already been ripe ground for history-making fashion moments—from Japanese skater Yuto Horigome’s Nike kit and collaborative Dunks to the crystal-strewn USA gymnastics leotards that Simone Biles has been dominating in and South Korean markswoman Kim Ye-ji’s sci-fi shades.

Getting into the sporting spirit, we invite two very different style authorities to imagine looks inspired by the competition. With an eye for classic menswear shapes, car enthusiast and London boy Callum Mullin plays on preppy tennis whites of eras past, mixing his own clothes with a Nicholas Daley striped polo shirt. Across the pond in Montreal, Brazilian gymnast-turned-model Brianna Anderson leans into her love of football, taking a twist on the sport with a Nike x Bode jersey paired with Nike x Comme des Garçons heeled sneakers.

Below, Mullin and Anderson speak on their personal sporting heroes, unique approaches to fashion and best style advice.
