    For New York-born, Paris-based designer Anthony Alvarez, it's been a whirlwind of a year. In March, came the announcement that his menswear label Bluemarble was a semifinalist for the LVMH Prize. Soon after he was named a finalist for the Woolmark Prize. In May, brand muse Justin Bieber wore Alvarez’s signature baggy, bedazzled jeans. Then in June, Bluemarble was awarded the prestigious Pierre Bergé ANDAM Prize, which came with €100,000 and a year-long mentorship by Tomorrow’s CEO Stefano Martinetto.
