Air Tailwind 79 'Tour Yellow'
Holding the title as the very first Nike shoe to utilize Nike Air technology, the Air Tailwind debuted at the Honolulu marathon in 1978 and released to the public in 1979. The throwback trainer returned in April 2019 in the form of the Air Tailwind 79 'Tour Yellow' sneaker. The revived shoe stays true to the design of the original, donning a mesh upper with suede overlays, accented by leather Swooshes.
