Carrot Ceramic, Nathalie Du Pasquier for Memphis Milano
Ettore Sottsass founded Memphis Milano in 1980, subverting principles of modernity and minimalism to develop a bold aesthetic inspired by the art deco and pop art movements. Created by Nathalie Du Pasquier in 1985 for the influential collective, the Carrot vase is a flared ceramic vessel. Rendered primarily in light blue, the center of the object features two separate patterns, including a leopard print and monochromatic stripes. While it is often pictured holding floral arrangements, it can also serve as a standalone visual accent that honors the revolutionary design group. It measures 30cm H.
