Reebok celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special rendition of the Ventilator, part of a collaboration with Detroit sneaker boutique Burn Rubber. Based on the Burn Rubber co-founder’s frequent trips to Boblo Island Amusement Park in Ontario growing up, the ‘Boblo Boat’ references the 45-minute ferry ride required to get to the park. Incorporating a series of grey, white and blue tones on the suede and mesh upper, yellow accents on the eyelets allude to the boat and its smokestack. The icy blue outsole symbolizes the cold waters, while the brand’s logo on the heel is reinterpreted to mirror the layout of the dock.
