The Best Street Style of the FW23 Men's Season
Inspiring outfits from seasonal showcases in Milan and Paris. Featuring Loewe, Stüssy and more.

January kicked off the 2023 fashion calendar with menswear presentations around the world.
In Milan, Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada expanded their minimalist design language for Prada with voluminous insulating materials, while Marni and Carhartt WIP launched their colorful collaboration with a funk-inspired party at the Italian brand’s flagship store. Jonathan Anderson straddled the line between conceptualism and surrealism, debuting footwear in the shape of frogs and pillows as key accessories.
A few days later, in France, Louis Vuitton stood out as Paris Fashion Week’s most prominent highlight. KidSuper founder Colm Dillane worked with the iconic house as the first person to co-design the menswear collection since Virgil Abloh’s passing, presenting a story of growing up, from childhood to adolescence to early adulthood. Spanish sensation Rosalía opened the show with a surprise performance, setting the stage for the looks to follow.
In each city, industry insiders exchanged notes between shows. Below, a roundup of the season’s best street style looks as captured by Asia Typek.
Milan Fashion Week FW23
Guests opted for oversized coats and cropped bomber jackets in the Italian fashion capital. Statement patterns, prints and textures colored all styles, while Y2K aesthetics continued to define early 2023 trends, visible in the form of tribal motifs and wraparound sunglasses. Square-toe silhouettes and elevated soles provided a preview of the style landscape’s shifting footwear preferences.
Paris Fashion Week FW23
The fashion set headed north for Paris after Milan, curating their outfits for the ongoing winter weather with an emphasis on layers and outerwear. Bright accents punctuated monochromatic shades and earth tones. Accessories such as handbags, beanies and scarves lent an additional layer of texture and color. Proportions and unisex styling blurred the traditional boundary between menswear and womenswear.
