The Nike Zoom Freak 2 'Play for the Future' draws inspiration from Nike Basketball’s commitment to uplifting a new generation of stars — a vision shared by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who used to split one pair of basketball between himself and his brothers. The low-top makes use of a sapphire textile upper, accented with neon green detailing and mounted atop a midsole that combines soft foam with Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot. A molded TPU piece on the lateral sidewall is designed to contain Giannis’ signature Euro step move.
