With similar tooling and performance benefits, the Zoom Don released in 2010 takes its design inspiration from the low-cut Nike Spiridon from 2003. A one-piece mesh layer covers striated straps that anchor the laces for breathability, support and a locked-in feel. The bubbly outsole design is borrowed from the Air Jordan 13, implying this mid-cut shoe is viable for training or hoops. Zoom Air cushioning and a tacky rubber outsole deliver a responsive feel and enhanced traction.
